The present by Peter the Great to his beloved wife

What would a czar give to his beloved wife – a palace and a wonderful garden, of course, which high trees, baroque rose gardens and a Swan Pond are enchanting all year around.

The guide will take us through Kadriorg Park with its interesting history, we will visit the House and Museum of Peter the Great and get acquainted with the Art Museum of Kadriorg Palace.

If possible, we will also visit Pirita Convent. According to a legend, one can go to Tallinn old town via secret passage. Not far, at Pirita, the Sailing Regatta of 1980 Summer Olympic Games was held.

The Description of the Excursion

We will enjoy the best of the collections of foreign art of Estonian Art Museum, exhibited in the baroque halls of Kadriorg Palace. Then we will visit the Summer House of Peter the Great and look if the Estonian colours are fluttering in the flagstaff of the Presidential Residence behind the palace, if the President of the Republic of Estonia is at home.
